This is not the easiest thing to do but once you enable it, all of your default Windows Apps and settings will be placed on top of a dark background. This makes for an awesome looking dark theme on your computer versus the plain bright white. Newer versions of Windows 10 have this built in making this video outdated. Use this for versions of Windows 10 where you cannot change the theme in settings.

Enable Dark Mode:

New-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize -Name AppsUseLightTheme -Value 0

Disable Dark Mode:

Remove-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize -Name AppsUseLightTheme
