The mission of the Harvard Undergraduate OpenBio Laboratory is to foster a collaborative community centered around biology that moves the world forward. We aim to change the paradigm of biological research by making the space, resources, funding, and advising needed for impactful research accessible to all, helping students turn their research visions into reality. Additionally, we are committed to increasing access to scientific education and opportunities for underrepresented groups, as diversity is essential for progress and innovation. Through this community, we hope to enable meaningful research and change the culture of undergraduate biology at Harvard and beyond. We are excited to work towards this mission and use biology to create a brighter future for all.
