Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying discuss a new paper that reconstructs NOAA data from 1,200 weather stations from over 100 years, uses a different metric than NOAA does to describe the data, and concludes that the world—or at least the coterminous U.S.—is not heating up in the way we have been told.

Heather circles back to a point that was made at the opening of the episode "Sudden Flood in Tibet," on the importance of paper.

"We still have the original reports that were written on with ink by people over 100 years ago. And if we were just trusting what NOAA was telling us the data were, those would be missing."
